A Unified Solution for Surrounding Rock of Roadway Considering Seepage, Dilatancy, Strain-Softening and Intermediate Principal Stress

The analytic solution for surrounding rock of roadway is significance stability analysis and support. However, analytical which took influences water seepage, strain softening, dilatancy intermediate principal stress all into account did not receive much reporting. To promote research in this aspect, a mechanical model simultaneously considering dilatancy, was established based on porous elastoplastic mechanics, then unified obtained. Based an example, residual cohesion were thoroughly investigated using single factor analysis. obtained results are as follows: radii plastic zones surface displacement would increase exponentially with pressure increasing their magnitudes greater than corresponding values without seepage considered; softening modulus increasing, peak circumferential location slightly shift to deeper rock, while broken zone radius decay velocity; has little effect radius, linearly coefficient ?1 indicating overestimated if associated flow rule adopted; weighted components at the same distance from center increase, two reduced, i.e., self-bearing capacity enhanced compared Mohr–Coulomb criterion; remains unchanged, decrease significantly. above implicated that should be carefully considered under groundwater environment; strain-softening reasonably analyzed chosen accurately predict roadway; bolt length increased it can decreased grouting measure effective improve stability. In short, provides theoretical basis some practical engineering implication
